Shi Yiguan calligraphy on wall exchange for wineEmperor Ling of East Han dynasty love and advocate calligraphy. There're a lot of great calligraphers at that time. Shi Yiguan was the best of the calligraphers at that time. His calligraphy works as big as one square Zhang (1 Zhang equal to about 10 feet) for one character, as small as 1000 characters in one square inch. Sometimes he went to a restaurant to drink wine with no money. After the meal, he did calligraphy on the wall. There are many people appreciate his calligraphy and donate money to him. After he collected enough money for the meal, he erased his calligraphy. |
