The wedding custom is different even at different village near to each other in China. Of course, they are similar. But it is very often that people are confused in a wedding a few miles away from home.

Grandmother means mother of father or mother. In Chinese mother of your father is called Nai Nai. Mother of your mother is called Lao Lao or Wai Po.

In English, ant means the sister of your father or mother. In Chinese, sister of your father should be called Gu. Sister of your mother should be called Yi.

In China, one can not call the name of a family member. For example, you can not call your dad his name. You can only mention his name to other people outside of your family. You can not call your elder sister or brother their name either. In Chinese, elder brother and younger brother are two different words.
