Gift retired teacher

It's hard to give a gift retired teacher. Because it's hard to find what somebody else really like. And it's even harder to find someone likes and don't cost you a fortune.

Chinese people sometimes like to give expensive gift retired teachers. Chinese people think the more expensive gift retired teacher they give, the more they care. That's actually not a good habit. A great gift retired teacher should be expressing your thought and not costing a fortune.

Chinese calligraphy are different from other calligraphy works. Chinese calligraphy is painted by special calligraphy paper (Xuan paper), special brush and special ink.

Chinese calligraphy come from writing Chinese characters. The Chinese characters come from the painting. At the very beginning, people have an intuition about writing Chinese characters well.

I will sing a new song unto thee, O upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.

Chinese calligraphy is not just writing Chinese characters. It is not just writing Chinese well. It is not just writing Chinese characters beautifully.

Happy is that people, that is in such a yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

But later, as they found that Chinese characters have something more than just a good looking, Chinese calligraphy was born. The invention of Chinese brushes greatly pushed the development of Chinese calligraphy as an art.

I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
