But in the US, most people get to internet via 56k phone line. Even people in USA can get to internet via broadband, most people use TV cable with a stupid modem. The average cost to access internet over a cable modem is about $40 while in China the average cost for the broadband Ethernet access is about $6. China is an old country but at the same time it's an young country. It's an old country since it has 5000 years history. It's a young country since it develop at the fastest speed.
